FC Augsburg have made further changes to the make up of their squad going into the remainder of the season. Midfielder Moritz Leitner will join Norwich City on loan until 30th June 2018 with immediate effect as he seeks to get more game time with the English Championship side. Further details around the transfer between the two clubs remains undisclosed as of this moment. "I'm someone who loves playing as often as I can. Therefore, I'm very happy the club have given me the opportunity to get game time in England for a short while. I will have my fingers crossed for my teammates in everyone of their remaining games this season," said Moritz on his move. "At Norwich, I will learn things which I can take back with me on my return. Every game there will do me good. It's a good solution for all involved. I'd like to thank all those at FC Augsburg for making this possible and look forward to seeing you all once again in the near future." "Loaning Moritz out makes sense for us as he wants to gain as much as game time as possible. We're sure he'll integrate himself well there under a German head coach and other German teammates are in the area. He'll get games and that's what matters," commented Stefan Reuter, FCA's sporting director.
