FCA to open 2022/23 Bundesliga season at home

On Friday, the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) announced the schedule for the 2022/23 Bundesliga season. FCA will open their 12th straight top-flight campaign at home.
Matchday 1 will take place the weekend of 6th/7th August, as FCA welcome SC Freiburg to the WWK-Arena. The first away game of the season will be against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (12th-14th August). On matchday 3, Mainz will travel to Augsburg (19th to 21st August).
The winter break will begin in mid-November due to the World Cup in Qatar and will end nearly two months later in late January. FCA’s final match before the winter break will be at home against VfL Bochum on matchday 15 (11th-13th November). The season will resume the weekend of 20th to 22nd January 2023 with a trip to face Borussia Dortmund. FCA will end the season away at Borussia Mönchengladbach on matchday 34 (Saturday, 27th May, 15:30 CEST). The exact dates and kick-off times for each fixture are yet to be released.
The club will release information about ticket sales as soon as the timings for the fixtures have been announced.
