Kömür, Banks and Ibrahimović called up to Germany U21s
Three matches for FCA trio
Three Augsburg players have been named in the Germany U21 side. Whilst Arijon Ibrahimović and Mert Kömür return to Antonio Di Salvo’s squad, Noahkai Banks is celebrating his first call up.
For the first time, three FCA players in Ibrahimović, Kömür and Banks have been called up to the Germany U21s at the same time. In Kömür and Banks, two homegrown players have received a place in the squad.
Three European qualifiers await the Germany U21s in the upcoming international break. The opening fixture will be played in Latvia on 26th September at 18:00 CEST. Just a few days later, Di Salvo’s side will travel to play away against Malta on 30th September at 18:00 CEST. The last of the three fixtures finally sees Germany play at home in Bielefeld, where they will take on Georgia on 6th October at 18:00 CEST.
