FC Augsburg to play Würzburger Kickers in friendly

FC Augsburg travel north to face RB Leipzig on Friday evening (20:30 CET), with Heiko Herrlich’s team facing Bayer 04 Leverkusen at home on the following weekend (21st February, 15:30 CET). In between these two Bundesliga fixtures, FCA will also play a friendly behind closed doors on Monday against Würzburger Kickers (14:00 CET).
Following 21 matches in the Bundesliga 2, the Kickers currently sit bottom of the second division. A familiar face is former FCA goalkeeper Fabian Giefer, who could make the trip to his old club following his move from Augsburg to Würzburg last summer. Supporters of both clubs also share a close friendship.
