Kevin Danso suffers ankle injury

FCA head coach Manuel Baum will have to do without young centre-back Kevin Danso over the coming weeks after the 19-year-old Austrian picked up a right ankle injury in the 2-0 loss to TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday. The length of his spell on the sidelines depends on how well his recovery goes. The injury will be handled with caution. “Thanks to this injury, the loss has left even more of a bitter taste in our mouths than it would have done otherwise. We’ve really been struck by the injury bug recently,” said Manuel Baum. “Whoever knows Kevin Danso well, however, will understand that he will do everything in his power to come back to full fitness as soon as possible.”
