FCA and Henri Koudossou agree to contract extension
New deal until 30th June 2028
In January, Henri Koudossou’s contract with FC Augsburg automatically extended by a year until 2026. Now, FCA have secured the full-back’s services for a further two years.
Koudossou arrived at FCA from SV Pullach in summer 2020. Since then, the 25-year-old has continued to develop in the U23s in addition to during loan spells at Austria Lustenau and ADO Den Haag. Last season, the Munich-born man regularly featured for the first team and made his Bundesliga debut in September 2024.
“Over the past few years, Henri has earned his place in the squad through good performances. He has showed that he can bring his strengths to the table at Bundesliga level. We want to build on this, and Henri should continue to improve little by little,” explained FCA’s CEO Michael Ströll.
Henri Koudossou added, “I’m really happy with the contract extension and the faith that the club has showed in me. My goal is to keep working hard and continue my football journey.”
