Switzerland beat Finland 3-2 in friendly
Ruben Vargas had a big say in Switzerland’s 3-2 friendly win against Finland to round off the international break.
Switzerland found themselves 2-1 down when Ruben Vargas was brought on just after the half-time break. After a goal in the 21st minute from Mario Gavranovic, Union Berlin’s Joel Pohjanpalo turned the game around with goals in the 30th and 40th minutes. Head coach Vladimir Petkovic had a trick up his sleeve in the shape of Ruben Vargas. Two minutes after coming on, the FCA star equalised following a fabulous solo effort (57’). Vargas even went on to set up Haris Seferovic for the winning goal in the 86th minute.
