Augsburg will get the campaign underway against Union on a Saturday afternoon
On Friday afternoon, the German Football League (DFL) released exact dates and times for the first eight matchdays of the 2020/21 season. FC Augsburg begin the season on 19th September (Saturday, 15:30 CEST) with an away match against 1. FC Union Berlin.
FCA will play host to Borussia Dortmund at the WWK ARENA in the first game of the season. This fixture has been scheduled for Saturday, 26th September at 15:30 CEST. The next game will be away against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday 4th October (15:30 CEST). This will be followed by an international break, before we return to action against RasenBallsport Leipzig on 17th October (15:30 CEST). A Monday evening fixture against Bayer 04 Leverkusen will follow (20:30 CEST).
Back-to-back home fixtures come next for Heiko Herrlich’s men; matches against 1. FSV Mainz 05 (31st October) and Hertha BSC (7th November) will take place on Saturday afternoons at 15:30 CET, as will our game away to Borussia Mönchengladbach (21st November).
