Raúl Bobadilla leaves FC Augsburg

Striker Raúl Bobadilla will no longer play for FC Augsburg. The Argentinean born player has let FCA know of his intentions to leave the club and his wish to play for his former team Borussia Mönchengladbach. FCA complied after reaching a mutual agreement with Borussia. Both clubs agreed to keep the transfer fee private. “I had a great time at FCA, but I simply couldn’t reject the offer my old club gave me. I hope all FCA fans understand my decision and wish them all the best. It wasn’t a decision against FCA, it was a new step in my career,” Raúl Bobadilla explains his transfer after successfully completing his medical in Mönchengladbach on Thursday.
