Noah Sarenren Bazee tears his ACL

Serious injury suffered in training

Bad news for Noah Sarenren Bazee and FC Augsburg. The 25-year-old suffered a bad injury in training on Monday. Following the session, FCA’s team doctors examined the attacker and diagnosed a torn ACL in his right knee. The winger will therefore miss at least the remainder of the current season.

“Thanks to his hard work in training, Noah had got himself really fit. He got his reward for this graft with a goal against a Dortmund and a start in Bielefeld. He was on the right track, which makes it even more gutting for him and us that he’s now got to recover from such a serious injury,” said FCA head coach Markus Weinzierl.

“We hope that Noah can switch his focus to the future quickly after this diagnosis. We will give him all the support he needs to get fit again as soon as possible,” commented Stefan Reuter, the club’s sporting director.

“I’ve unfortunately already had a few injuries in my career so far. I’m obviously really frustrated right now, but I’m confident that I will be able to put this period behind me and I’ll be back stronger than before as soon as I can,” stated an optimistic Sarenren Bazee.
