After a 3-0 defeat to Hertha, the Bundesliga will now give way to another international break, with seven FC Augsburg players off representing their countries. Two of them will be hoping to make their senior international debuts.

Felix Uduokhai has been called up by Germany for the first time, and will be looking to become the fourth FCA player to feature for the national team. Germany will begin with a friendly against the Czech Republic (Wednesday, 11th Nov.) before facing both Ukraine (Saturday, 14th Nov.) and Spain (Tuesday, 17th Nov.) in the Nations League.

Robert Gumny is also looking to make his first appearance for Poland’s senior national team. They will face Ukraine in a friendly on Wednesday (11th Nov.). Gumny is also part of Poland’s U21 squad for their U21 EURO qualifier against Latvia (Tuesday, 17th Nov.).
Michael Gregoritsch has once again been called up to play for Austria. They will play Luxembourg in a friendly on Wednesday, 11th November before facing Northern Ireland (Sunday, 15th Nov.) and Norway (Wednesday, 18th Nov.) in the Nations League.

Alfred Finnbogason and Iceland have an important game ahead of them, as they need a win in the playoffs against Hungary (Thursday, 12th Nov.) to secure a spot at next summer’s EUROs. Iceland will also play two Nations League matches against Denmark (Sunday, 15th Nov.) and England (Wednesday, 18th Nov.).

Ruben Vargas will be in action with Switzerland, as they face Belgium in a friendly on Wednesday, 11th November. They will then face Spain (Saturday, 14th Nov.) and Ukraine (Tuesday, 17th Nov.) in the Nations League.

Goalkeeper Tomáš Koubek has been called up by the Czech Republic, and will face Germany in a friendly on Wednesday, 11th November. They then have two Nations League games against Israel (Sunday, 15th Nov.) and Slovenia (Wednesday, 18th Nov.).

Carlos Gruezo will be travelling the farthest of any FCA player, as he will join up with Ecuador for two World Cup qualifiers in Bolivia (Thursday, 12th Nov.) and against Columbia (Tuesday, 17th Nov.).

Two on-loan FCA players will also be in action this international break. New signing Frederik Winther, who was loaned back to Lynby BK immediately after signing for FCA, has received his first call up to the Denmark U21s. He could now feature in their upcoming U21 EURO qualifier in Romania on Tuesday, 17th November. Kevin Danso (currently on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf), could feature in two U21 EURO qualifiers. Austria’s U21s will face Turkey on Friday, 13th November, before playing Andorra four days later (Tuesday, 17th November).
