A number of FC Augsburg players have been in action with their national teams following the end of the Bundesliga season.
Samuel Essende came off the bench for DR Congo in the 75th minute of their 2-0 win against Madagascar.
Kristijan Jakić played the last nine minutes in Croatia’s 5-1 hammering of Czechia.
Elvis Rexhbecaj started Kosovo’s 4-2 win over Comoros and came off at the break.
Cédric Zesiger didn’t feature for Switzerland as they beat USA 4-0.
Dimitris Giannoulis also didn’t play as Greece won 4-0 in a friendly against Bulgaria.
Steve Mounié also didn’t play as Greece won 4-0 in a friendly against Bulgaria.
The majority of FCA players can now enjoy some time off, with the exception being Chrislain Matsima. The centre-back will begin the U21 European Championship on Wednesday, 11th June as his French side play Portugal in their first group game.
