Maximilian Bauer moves to Bielefeld on loan

Centre-back Maximilian Bauer has moved to second-tier side Arminia Bielefeld on loan until the end of the season. Both sides have opted not to disclose the details of the deal.
The 25-year-old has been under contract at FC Augsburg since July 2022, playing 55 competitive matches for FCA in that time. This season, Bauer has made ten appearances in the Regionalliga Bayern for Augsburg’s U23s.
“Max came to us asking for the opportunity to get minutes at a high level. We’ve fulfilled this request and have managed to find a solution with Bielefeld that benefits all parties. We wish him all the best and hope that his spell at Arminia is injury-free,” said FCA sporting director Benni Weber.
