Augsburg have added another player to their ranks for the upcoming season and the next few years. U21 Danish international Mads Pedersen, who recently took part in the U21 European Championship in Italy and San Marino, will wear FCA colours next season. The 22-year-old has moved from FC Nordsjaelland to Augsburg, signing a five-year deal until 30th June 2024. Both sides have agreed to remain silent over the transfer fee. "The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world. I'm pleased that I've got the chance in Augsburg to prove myself in the Bundesliga," says Mads Pedersen on his move to Germany. "FCA is a club where I can really develop further as a young player." "Mads Pedersen has progressed through all of Denmark's junior teams. He has great potential and despite his young age, has already been able to gain a lot of experience at professional level. This is why we're convinced that he will enrich our squad," says Stefan Reuter, Sporting Director of FCA. Due to his participation in the U21 European Championships, Mads will not join up with the squad once pre-season training gets back underway but will arrive later like other players who have been on international duty.
