

Kohr in European Championship final with Germany U21
Dominik Kohr reached beat England in the semi-final of the U21 European Championship in Poland on Wednesday evening to reach the final of the competition.
The Germany U21 national team came out on top on penalties, triumphing 4-3 over the Young Lions. After normal time failed to separate the two teams at 2-2, spot-kicks had to be the decider. The team held their nerve, with goalkeeper Julian Pollersbeck (1. FC Kaiserslautern) leading the way with two saves, most notably the final kick of the shootout from Southampton’s Nathan Redmond.
Dominik Kohr, who is set to leave FCA for Bayer 04 Leverkusen, got his first match action of the tournament so far as he replaced Janik Haberer (SC Freiburg) in extra-time. The final takes place on Friday, 30th June (20:45 CEST) against Spain in Krakow.
