Felix Götze joins 1. FC Kaiserslautern on loan

FC Augsburg can confirm a loan departure at the end of the transfer window; Midfielder Felix Götze has sealed a deal to play for third-tier side 1. FC Kaiserslautern until 30th June 2021. Details of the transfer will remain undisclosed.
“Felix Götze came to us asking for a loan move so that he can get more match practice. We granted his wish because we feel that this will be a good deal for all those involved,” said Stefan Reuter, managing director for sport at FC Augsburg. “We hope that Felix develops like we all expect him to in Kaiserslautern.”
“I’m happy with the move and I’m grateful to FCA for allowing me to take this chance. I am sure that this is the right step for my development because I need as much playing time as possible,” said Götze.
