FCA U17 takes part in the Great Wall Cup

The U17 team has successfully landed in Beijing and moved into their accommodation for the 11th Great Wall Cup International Youth Football Invitational. The Red-Green-Whites are taking part in the tournament for the first time. Alongside FC Augsburg, the participating teams include Real Madrid, PSV Eindhoven, RSC Anderlecht, Austria Vienna, FC Kairat Almaty, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and the Beijing U16 Selection Team.

Following their arrival, the tournament is now entering its decisive phase. The first training sessions were already on the schedule on Monday before things get serious from Tuesday onward. The group stage begins then, with the team battling until Thursday for a strong starting position. The crossover and placement matches will follow on Friday, before the sporting highlight of the tournament takes place on Sunday with finals day. A day dedicated to Chinese culture is also part of the itinerary.
