FC Augsburg have signed 18-year-old striker Tom Bader. The attacking talent joins from FC Hansa Rostock’s U19s and has penned a contract running until 30th June 2030.

In the first phase of the DFB Youth League, the right-footer scored eleven goals in twelve matches and set up a further five. He has more than showcased his finishing ability this season, scoring four goals in one game against Hallescher FC and bagging braces against both Viktoria Berlin and Carl Zeiss Jena. The youngster has also gained experience at international level, taking part in a Germany U18s prospects camp in October 2025.

“We’ve been watching Tom Bader for a long time. He has really caught the eye with his performances in the first phase of the DFB Youth League for Hansa Rostock,” said sporting director Benni Weber. “He has huge talent and the potential to be developed towards our Bundesliga team. That’s why we’re delighted he has chosen FCA.”

Tom Bader is looking ahead to his future at FC Augsburg with great motivation: “Moving to a Bundesliga club is an important next step in my development. I’m very grateful for the club’s trust and for the opportunity to keep improving in this professional environment.”
