FCA players complete fitness tests

After the 2-1 defeat to RB Leipzig last weekend, FCA ended a nerve-wracking season which saw them avoid relegation once again. FCA can now look forward to a tenth consecutive year in the Bundesliga.
However, the season was not yet over for the players when the final whistle blew on Saturday, but the beginning of a week of performance tests for the FCA players. Only in the middle of the week do the players say their goodbyes and begin their summer holidays.
FCA head coach Heiko Herrlich had already announced the performance tests before the final matchday in order to collect the right values in preparation for next season. By doing this, individual training plans for the summer are created, so the players can get back to good physical fitness after the holidays are over.
However, the start date of the 2020/21 season is still yet to be decided, as the German Football League (DFL) have not yet published a general schedule.
