FCA loan Elias Saad to Hannover 96

FC Augsburg have loaned attacker Elias Saad to Hannover 96 until the end of the current season. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose further details of the deal.
Saad, who is under contract in Augsburg until June 2029, joined the club last summer from FC St. Pauli. This season, the 26-year-old has made 10 Bundesliga appearances, totalling 499 minutes of playing time. More recently, he was part of the Tunisia squad at the Africa Cup of Nations, featuring in two matches.
“Elias hasn’t had a lot of playing time with us, while at the same time he has the clear ambition of going to the World Cup with Tunisia. Given the current situation, a loan until the end of the season is the right step. We wish him every success with Hannover 96 for the second half of the campaign,” said FCA sporting director Benni Weber.
