As part of their preparations for the remainder of the 2025/26 season, FC Augsburg faced FC Ingolstadt in a friendly behind closed doors on Monday afternoon. The match ended in a 3-1 defeat for Manuel Baum’s side.
Ingolstadt took the lead in the 25th minute, as Simon Lorenz headed in the opener. Arne Maier then drew level for the hosts after the break (49’), before goals from Davide Sekulovic (69’) and Yann Sturm (71’, pen.) turned the game back in Ingolstadt’s favour.
