Augsburg to face Karlsruher SC in friendly

First Team 05.11.2020, 14:00

This Saturday (7th November, 15.30 CET), FC Augsburg take on Hertha BSC at the WWK ARENA in the final Bundesliga fixture before the international break. FCA will aim to stay sharp during the break by playing a friendly match against Karlsruher SC on Thursday, 12th November. The meeting with the second-division side will kick off at 14.00 CET.

The match will take place behind closed doors due to the current coronavirus figures. Fans can follow the game via live-stream on FCA TV, which will also bring you highlights and post-match reaction.

Karlsruher SC were able to celebrate survival as a newly-promoted team last season, but the start to 2020/21 has served as a wake-up call. A narrow defeat in the first round of the DFB-Pokal (1-0 against Union Berlin) was followed by three consecutive league defeats to Hannover (2-0), Bochum (1-0) and Regensburg (1-0). KSC were able to pick up their first points with a win over Sandhausen (3-0) and a draw against Nürnberg (1-1). After their most recent result, a 4-3 reverse to Darmstadt, they find themselves in 17th place with four points. KSC face FC St. Pauli ahead of the international break (Sunday, 8th November, 13.30 CET).
