David Čolina joins Osijek on loan
With option to buy
David Čolina has joined Croatian top-tier side NK Osijek on loan. They will also have an option to buy the 25-year-old left-back. The two clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
Čolina, who joined FCA from Hajduk Split in January 2023, had been on loan at Danish club Vejle BK for the last year and a half. He played 39 competitive games during his spell there. The former Croatia U21 international’s contract with FCA runs until 30th June 2027.
“Considering the stiff competition for places on the left side of defence, another loan is the best option for David. In Croatia, he’ll have the chance to play regularly and develop as a footballer. We wish him all the best,” said FCA’s CEO Michael Ströll.
“I’m happy to be returning to my home country of Croatia. My aim is to get a lot of game time and show what I can do on the pitch. I’d like to thank the people at FCA for allowing me to make this move,” said David Čolina.
