Tim Breithaupt was able to fulfill his dream of playing in the Bundesliga by moving to FCA. The 1.92-metre midfielder came from Karlsruher SC, where he played for all the youth teams and made his professional debut in the second division in January 2021. Breithaupt made a total of 57 appearances for the Baden club and became an undisputed regular.
He now wants to build on this with the Fuggerstädter: “It was my great wish to take the next step in my career this summer and I am firmly convinced that FC Augsburg is the right place to do so,” said Breithaupt when he signed his contract. The ex-Karlsruher signed a long-term contract with FCA until 2028.
