FC Augsburg will say goodbye to Elvis Rexhbecaj, Daniel Klein and goalkeeping coach Marco Langner before kick-off against Borussia Mönchengladbach, which is the club’s final home game of the season. Stefan Reuter, whose contract also expires this summer, will similarly be honoured at the stadium for his service to FCA.

Elvis Rexhbecaj joined FCA from VfL Wolfsburg in 2022 and has made 117 competitive appearances for the club, scoring six goals and providing two assists. Daniel Klein has been with FCA since 2021. After spending the 2023/24 season on loan at SV Sandhausen, he returned to Augsburg as part of the club’s group of goalkeepers. Marco Langner arrived in Augsburg ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and spent two years as FCA’s goalkeeping coach.

Stefan Reuter played a defining role in FC Augsburg’s sporting development over many years. During his time as managing director for sport from 2013 to 2023, FCA established themselves in the Bundesliga and enjoyed some of the most successful years in the club’s history. In recent years, he has continued to support the club in an advisory role.

FC Augsburg would like to thank Elvis Rexhbecaj, Daniel Klein, Marco Langner and Stefan Reuter for their commitment and dedication to FCA, and wish them all the best for the future.
