Six FCA players set to feature at the World Cup
Tournament to get underway on 11th June

The FIFA World Cup will take place from 11th June to 19th July in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Several FCA players will also be taking part after having been called up by their respective countries.
Fabian Rieder (Switzerland)
The 24-year-old is taking part in his second World Cup, having also been part of the Swiss squad for the 2022 edition of the tournament. Rieder is a regular starter for his country.

- Thursday, 18th June, 21:00 CEST: Switzerland vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Wednesday, 24th June, 21:00 CEST: Switzerland vs. Canada
Michael Gregoritsch (Austria)
Gregoritsch’s goal in Austria’s 1-1 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina secured their place at the tournament. They will face tough competition in the group stage, notably the defending champions, Argentina.

Kristijan Jakić (Croatia)
Jakić previously featured in the third-place match at the 2022 World Cup, as Croatia beat Morocco 2-1.

- Wednesday, 24th June, 1:00 CEST: Panama vs. Croatia
- Saturday, 27th June, 23:00 CEST: Croatia vs. Ghana
Ismaël Gharbi und Elias Saad (Tunisia)
Ismaël Gharbi and Elias Saad, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Hannover 96, are both in Tunisia’s World Cup squad.

- Sunday, 21st June, 6:00 CEST: Tunisia vs. Japan

Nathanaël Mbuku (DR Congo)
The winger is off to the World Cup after spending this past season on loan at Montpellier HSC, where he scored four goals and provided six assists in 30 appearances.
