Schieber: "Things can change very quickly in the Bundesliga"

In FC Augsburg’s last match against TSG Hoffenheim, Julian Schieber came off the bench to make his club debut. After overcoming a long period out with injury, Schieber is looking forward to more match time in the coming weeks. After training on Thursday, Julian Schieber was visibly pleased to be playing again. “I now have full faith in my body once again. I don’t feel any pain in my knee and can now train without any problems. I have got a clear head and can fully concentrate on my performances on the pitch.” Despite making a brief appearance off the bench, Schieber was unable to prevent FCA from falling to a defeat in Hoffenheim. “The result bothered the team. Of course we aren’t satisfied with not taking any points from the match. However, we are all footballers and know that our next match matters. Things can change very quickly in the Bundesliga.” Schieber could play with FC Augsburg U23s not only to gather some more match time but to also help out a side who are currently struggling. “For me, it is about getting some more match time. Of course the best case possible would be if I were to help restore some confidence in the U23s squad.”
