After such a long time out, Noah Sarenren Bazee is back on the pitch. The attacker netted twice in a friendly against FC Bayern Munich II in a promising performance. The 23-year-old talks to FCA Fan-TV about his current condition, and looks towards the upcoming match against Hertha BSC on Sunday 24th November (15:30 CET).

Sarenren Bazee is still yet to make an appearance in the Bundesliga, after only just recovering from an ankle injury. “I’m getting better every day and I take every training session as it comes. I’m slowly getting closer to playing my first competitive match for FCA,” said the new signing from Hannover. Although he is “not quite at 100%,” he is “certainly going in the right direction.” Last week’s friendly match wasn’t just an opportunity for him to gain some match fitness, but also to impress, as he did by scoring a brace. “Of course it’s a good feeling to be scoring goals again. I think this game will help to give us momentum after the international break.”

Hertha: “A team that fights until the end”

He’s also looking forward on a personal note: “I’m really looking forward to playing here in front of the fans. That’s the next step and it motivates me to keep going. It’s difficult to remain patient, but I will work as hard as I can to achieve this. However, I’m sure that it will happen soon.”

FCA are back in Bundesliga action on Sunday. The new signing sees Hertha as a team that “fight until the final whistle”, and are a “difficult team to beat.” However, the team’s aim is clear: “We want to win here in front of our fans. I’m absolutely certain that we will give it our all and the three points will stay here in Augsburg.”
