Reiner Maurer signs contract extension
Assistant coach to stay until 2022

In addition to the professional contract for Lukas Petkov, FC Augsburg have made another decision for the future, with assistant coach Reiner Maurer signing a one-year contract extension until 30th June 2022.
“Reinier brings a lot of experience through his long career as a coach and we noticed very quickly that the cooperation with him suits us very well. Therefore, we extended his contract for another year,” said Stefan Reuter, managing director for sport.
