Patric Pfeiffer moves to Darmstadt

Patric Pfeiffer has left FC Augsburg to join his former club SV Darmstadt 98 with immediate effect. The details of the transfer will remain undisclosed.
Pfeiffer spent last season initially on loan at BSC Young Boys in Switzerland, before spending the second half of the campaign at 1. FC Magdeburg. The 25-year-old centre-back has now returned to Darmstadt, where he previously played from 2019 to 2023 before moving on a free transfer to FCA. Pfeiffer made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Fuggerstädter.
“Patric informed us of his desire to move clubs. We therefore looked to find a solution that suited all parties. Patric now has the chance to build on his first successful spell in Darmstadt. We wish him all the best and thank him for his commitment,” said FCA CEO Michael Ströll.
“My time in Augsburg didn’t go how I hoped it would, but I’m still thankful for everyone’s support over the past few years and I’m now looking forward to returning to Darmstadt. I wish FCA all the best for the coming season,” explained Patric Pfeiffer.
