Having won the Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Month award in both January and April, FC Augsburg defender Chrislain Matsima is now up for the Rookie of the Season award.
All players nominated had to have won the Rookie of the Month award at least once during this season. The Rookie of the Month award sees the DFL recognise players that were under 23 years of age at the start of the season and that hadn't featured for more than 450 minutes in the Bundesliga.
All the winners of the Rookie of the Month award are now going up against each other for the Rookie of the Season title. Fans can vote until Wednesday, 14th May until 18:00 CEST. Get your vote in for Chrislain here!
