Kyliane Dong joins Bolton Wanderers on loan

Kyliane Dong will spend the 2026/27 season with Bolton Wanderers. FC Augsburg have agreed a one-year loan deal with the Championship side, which includes an option to buy. The clubs have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the move.
Dong, who joined FCA on a free transfer in summer 2025, spent last season on loan in Ligue 2 with Pau FC in order to gain valuable game time. The 21-year-old forward made 31 competitive appearances, scoring six goals.
“Kyliane made very good use of his first loan, gained important match practice and took the next step in his development. The aim now is for him to build on that progress and prove himself at a higher level. Another loan is therefore the best solution for everyone involved at this stage. We will continue to follow his progress closely and wish him every success in this next challenge,” said FCA sporting director Benni Weber.
