FC Augsburg have secured the services of youth talent Henri Koudossou for the long term. The 22-year-old has signed a contract until June 30th 2025, with an option of a further year, and will immediately move up to join Enrico Maaßen’s first team.

Koudossou, who was born in Munich, joined FCA in August 2020 from fifth-tier side SV Pullach, and has been part of Augsburg’s U23 squad in the Regionalliga Bayern since then. In 31 matches for the fourth-tier side, the attacker has scored six goals and set up a further 12.

“We want to offer our young talents a clear message of the opportunities they have, and support them in their journey to the Bundesliga. To that end, I’m delighted that we’ve been able to sign yet another talent for the long-term in Henri Koudossou, so that he can continue his development here,” said director of sport Stefan Reuter.

Koudossou was present as training got underway and will take shirt number 44 with the first team.
