Felix Uduokhai signs for Augsburg FC on loan

 Augsburg FC have completed another transfer, signing Germany Under-21 international Felix Udoukhai on a season-long loan from VfL Wolfsburg. The loan deal runs until 30th June 2020 and includes an option for Augsburg to buy the 21-year old. The financial details are undisclosed. “We are delighted that another Germany youth international has decided to join our club, as we are absolutely convinced of his qualities. This signing shows that young, promising talents identify with our vision,” says sporting director Stefan Reuter. ”I’m glad that the loan has been finalised and I believe that Augsburg gives me the chance to take the next step in my career. After speaking to the club I’m convinced that this is the right decision and I can help the team achieve their goals”, says new signing Felix Uduokhai The Germany U21s defender played 31 games in the Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg, as well as 21 games in Bundesliga 2 with TSV 1860 Munich. Together with his new FCA teammate Marco Richter, Uduokhai was in the Germany U21s side that finished second at the European Championship last season.
