Felix Meiser joins Fortuna Düsseldorf

Felix Meiser has left FC Augsburg to join Fortuna Düsseldorf following their relegation from the second division. The two clubs have agreed that the details of the transfer shall remain undisclosed.
Meiser came through the FCA academy after joining at U13 level and was named in the first-team Bundesliga squad on six occasions. The 19-year-old made 20 appearances for the U23s in the fourth tier last season, as well as featuring six times for the U19s.
“Felix is another homegrown player from our academy who has earned his chance in the professional game,” said FCA sporting director Benni Weber. “His move to Düsseldorf shows that we can support young players throughout their development and help them take the next step. We will continue to follow his progress closely.”
