FCA to host Bochum in DFB-Pokal second round

FC Augsburg have been drawn at home to VfL Bochum in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. The draw took place at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, overseen by DFB vice-president Peter Frymuth. The draw was conducted by Dr. Felix Brych, who refereed his final Bundesliga match in Augsburg on matchday 34 of last season.
After their 2-0 victory away to Hallescher FC in the first round, Sandro Wagner’s side will now face Bochum, who advanced with a 3-1 win over fourth-tier side BFC Dynamo. The second-round fixtures are scheduled for 28th and 29th October 2025, with eight ties to be played on each day.
