Elias Saad joins Nashville SC on loan

Elias Saad will spend the 2026/27 season on loan at Major League Soccer side Nashville SC. The contract details will remain undisclosed.
Saad’s contract at FCA remains valid until 30th June 2029, having spent the second half of last season on loan at Hannover 96. He featured in 13 matches, scoring three goals for the second-division side in this time. Most recently, the Hamburg native took part in the FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA, representing Tunisia. The 26-year-old featured in the group stage games against Sweden and Japan.
“For Elias, it’s now about getting back into the rhythm of playing regularly and seeing as much game time as possible. The MLS offers a good opportunity for him to do just that. We wish him all the best for a good and hopefully injury-free season,” said FCA sporting director Benni Weber.
