Henri Koudossou completes move to Arminia Bielefeld
Defender joins second-division side
Henri Koudossou has completed a move to Arminia Bielefeld. Both clubs have agreed to keep the details of the contract undisclosed.
The 26-year-old full-back had been at FCA since 2020, featuring in 21 Bundesliga and two DFB-Pokal games in this time. After stints on loan at Austria Lustenau and ADO Den Haag, Koudossou spent the 2025/26 season on loan at 1. FC Nürnberg, where he became a regular starter for the side.
“Our meetings with Henri were very open and honest. In the process, it became clear that a new opportunity had presented itself, which would offer an exciting prospect for his personal and sporting development. We would like to thank Henri for his effort at our club and wish him all the best for the future,” said FCA sporting director Benni Weber.
“I enjoyed my time in Augsburg, as I was able to grow as both a person and player. Now, the time has come for me to take the next step in my career and to pursue a new challenge. I would like to thank the entire club for their support and trust in me and wish FCA all the best for the future,” said Koudossou.
