Aiman Dardari signs new long-term deal
Contract until 2029
FC Augsburg have signed Aiman Dardari to a new long-term contract, running until 30th June 2029. The 20-year-old attacker, who has already made two appearances for the senior Luxembourg national team, will be part of the first-team squad in the upcoming season.
Dardari joined FCA in January 2025 after a successful journey through Mainz 05 academy, where he and his teammates were crowned U19 champions in the 2022/23 campaign. In the second half of last season, he scored six goals and provided two assists in 12 appearances for Augsburg’s U23 team. Since the beginning of pre-season, Dardari has been training with the first team and made his presence known by scoring in the friendlies against TSV Gersthofen and Crystal Palace.
“Aiman has a lot of potential. With his attack-mindedness and dribbling abilities, he has every chance of making it in professional football and we will support him on this journey,” said sporting director Benni Weber.
“I’m very happy to be able continue my development with FCA. These first few months here have been unbelievably valuable for me and have shaped me both personally and as a footballer. Now my focus is on continuing to develop further and working step by step towards establishing myself in the first team. My main goal is to one day make my debut in the Bundesliga, and for that I will give everything,” said Aiman Dardari, who will wear the number 28 shirt.
