

FC Augsburg to host training camp in Austria
In preparation for the upcoming season, FC Augsburg will head to training camp in Tyrol (Bad Häring) from Sunday 21st July to Sunday 29th July. The team will be looking to lay the groundwork for a successful ninth Bundesliga season.
Head coach Martin Schmidt’s side will begin their pre-season three weeks prior. On Friday 28th June, the team will return to take part in a closed training session.
Friendly against sixth division side FC Gundelfingen
FC Augsburg have scheduled one summer friendly for Tuesday 9th July (18:00 CEST) against sixth division side FC Gundelfingen in Jettingen.
Information on additional friendlies as well as the first public pre-season training sessions will be released in due course.
FC Augsburg will play their first official match of the 2019/20 season as part of the first round of the DFB-Pokal (Friday 9th August until Monday 12th August). They will start their Bundesliga season one week later (Friday 16th August until Sunday 18th August).
