11 FCA players called up for October internationals
EURO and World Cup qualifiers
Following matchday 6, the Bundesliga will pause once again for the next international break. 11 FC Augsburg players have been called up by their national teams over the next two weeks.
After receiving his first call-up in September, Finn Dahmen has again been selected for Germany’s senior national team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers – where he could face a familiar face in FCA teammate Aiman Dardari, who is part of the Luxembourg squad.
Mert Kömür is also back with Germany’s U21s after missing the last round of fixtures through injury. Elias Saad and Ismaël Gharbi will once more represent Tunisia, while Fabian Rieder joins up with Switzerland for two important World Cup qualifying fixtures.
