Steve Mounié joins Alanyaspor on loan

FC Augsburg have loaned Steve Mounié to Turkish Süper Lig side Alanyaspor until the end of the season. The 30-year-old striker’s contract at FCA runs until 30th June 2027. Both clubs have agreed to keep the finer details of the agreement confidential.
Steve Mounié joined FCA in July 2024 on a free transfer from French side Stade Brestois. He has since played 16 Bundesliga games (1 goal) for Augsburg, as well as two DFB-Pokal matches (1 goal).
“Steve wants to play regular football, in order to achieve his national team goals. This is something we just couldn’t give him here at FCA. With this loan agreement we’ve managed to find a solution that makes everyone happy and we wish him all the best,” said Augsburg sporting director Benni Weber.
