Preparations are underway for FC Augsburg’s away clash at Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday (15:30 CET). Augsburg go in search of their first points of the Rückrunde against the Foals. André Hahn is especially motivated for match as he prepares to take on his former club. FCA are raring to go in their second Bundesliga match of 2019. André Hahn is especially excited to face former club Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Foals know him well from his time at BORUSSIA-PARK. “Gladbach are a very strong technical side. They are very dangerous in attack and have fast players. We have the mentality and resources to take something from the match, if we defend compactly as a team and attack well. It is definitely possible.” FCA head coach Manuel Baum is also confident ahead of the match. “Earlier this season, we showed that we can compete with Gladbach. We want to prevent Gladbach from dominating the match and instead play to our strengths. Hahn wants to score more goals After scoring in his first Bundesliga game after injuring, as well as scoring in the DFB-Pokal, Hahn was playing well. However, the former HSV and Gladbach attacker then suffered a knee injury which kept him out of action for several weeks.  Nevertheless, Hahn is certain that he is in the right place and he has place high expectations on himself. “FC Augsburg is a great club to be a part of. I’m playing in a super team and I'm working hard to help the team be successful. My playing style is all about fighting for every ball and giving everything I have. I also want to start scoring more goals in the near future. To be able to do this, I need to be in the right place at the right time. It is also important for me to stay calm. This is especially the case given the current situation we are in.”
